It's Been A While..

It has been a while.. I have been taking pictures.. Just not posting them.. I don't know why, lol. Christmas is coming up in 2 days. Can you believe it? I sure can't! Where has this year gone? Though it has been a difficult one, I wouldn't change a thing because I feel like I have been brought closer to God. God has kept me from going insane, getting depressed about my job situation, brought me through a difficult time with now former friends, bringing me closer to my new best friend. Life is hard, but great! So with that, I want to wish everyone a very Blessed and Merry Christmas!

Upside 2 Downs 2010

This past Saturday (October 9th) was the 2nd Annual Upside 2 Downs Motorcycle Ride.. And it was a blast!!

Here is a little FYI about Upside 2 Downs: "Upside2downs is an organization that aims towards educating, inspiring and encouraging our parents with the tools to build, strengthen and empower our children to reaching their highest potential in life. Our goal is to expose to society, that those who are usually looked at as second hand citizens are capable of being productive citizens. Even to go as far as teaching society some of the basics that they have forgotten such as: Unconditional Love, Pride for their Job and a Way of looking at life a little less seriously."

October is not only Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it is also Downs Syndrome Awareness Month. And since I have two cousins with Downs and I have met more people with it, I have become aware. They may look and talk differently and may have to live with someone for the rest of their lives, they are no different from you or I. And the one great thing about them is they don't have a mean bone in their body. You smile at one and you are their friend for life.

I had fun at my friend Leslie's house.. while there I took pics of 3 of her 4 kids... Her son was a riot trying to pretend to be Earl and Randy from "My Name is Earl" and Leslie's youngest daughter would yell out "I'M JOY!!!".. LOL.. Here are some of the pics I got..

I have some photos coming soon.. Went walking around Monday taking pics of whatever caught my eye.. Going to a friends house today and taking pics of 3 of her 4 kids and then Saturday going with another friend and her two sons to the beach to do their pics... But just as soon as I get done editing the pics from around town they will be up!!!

Lighthouse...

I had the chance to go to the lighthouse with my mom and I climbed the tower.. And let me tell you it is HOOOOT! And hard... LOL.. I had to stop a couple of times to catch my breath.. 177 steps is a loooong way.. Now coming down was no problem.. But anyway, once I got to the top, the view was magnificent.. Water was clear and turquoise.. Breeze felt great! Makes you thank God for the beauty He created!

This is what BP has done to the Gulf.. I hope their proud of their greed! The smell was great, but it wasn't bad either.. But it was noticeable.. Have to be careful where you step that way you don't get oil on your feet...

Gilliard Girls...

Here are some of the pics that I took of Victoria and Isabella yesterday... Jay and Aiyleen Gilliard are the sweetest people.. And their girls are the happiest little ones.. Pleasure to work with them... But it was so hot and close to the end of it, Bella was over it.. haha! But I got some awesome pics of them..

Even tho I scratched my cornea the other day and bright lights makes my left eye EXTREMELY uncomfortable... but just as soon as I get my name on the pics, I will post them.. I Have Not Abandoned You..

I just haven't photographed anything.. Well, I did get a couple of magnolias... but I think that would be flower overboard here.. lol.. Been busy training with A DJ Connection... having a blast doing so.. So until I can get some more pics, it may be quiet... I will try to get some of the wedding I am assisting with tomorrow..

Saturday Night...

What was supposed to have been a drive to Destin, FL for a wedding turned out to be a wedding [with Shawn] then a concert.. After the wedding was over and on the drive back home Shawn and I saw the marquee for Club Overboard and saw that one of our favorite bands was playing.. FUEL!!!! OMG! I have been in love with this band since high school! So last second, we decided to go... We missed the opening act [don't know who it was] and the first half of Fuel's performance, but you know what.. I don't care... I GOT TO SEE BRETT SCALLIONS LIVE!!! *SWOON*
