Well, wedding is done.. Couple is extremely happy.. Now it's edit time.. I stare at the pics looking for inspiration.. Ugh! LOL.. I got the originals and black and whites... some are the touch of color and one has the spot light effect.. This is the kind is the kind of pressure I like... Just hope the newly weds will like it...

Wedding Shoot Countdown...

6 days to go!! I met with the bride and groom along with the son & daughter-in-law of the groom and one of the daughters of the bride... Great people.. I know they will be easy to please..

The nerves are starting to set in... I want to do right by them and make them extremely happy... Hoping all goes well.. Praying that the weather stays as pretty has it has been and that it's calling for.. Especially since it's being held at the beach...

I will have sneak peaks when I have them edited!!

I get my first wedding shoot in March!! It will be on the beach and I am sooo excited and nervous! Can't wait to see how it turns out...

It's Been A While..

It has been a while.. I have been taking pictures.. Just not posting them.. I don't know why, lol. Christmas is coming up in 2 days. Can you believe it? I sure can't! Where has this year gone? Though it has been a difficult one, I wouldn't change a thing because I feel like I have been brought closer to God. God has kept me from going insane, getting depressed about my job situation, brought me through a difficult time with now former friends, bringing me closer to my new best friend. Life is hard, but great! So with that, I want to wish everyone a very Blessed and Merry Christmas!

Upside 2 Downs 2010

This past Saturday (October 9th) was the 2nd Annual Upside 2 Downs Motorcycle Ride.. And it was a blast!!

Here is a little FYI about Upside 2 Downs: "Upside2downs is an organization that aims towards educating, inspiring and encouraging our parents with the tools to build, strengthen and empower our children to reaching their highest potential in life. Our goal is to expose to society, that those who are usually looked at as second hand citizens are capable of being productive citizens. Even to go as far as teaching society some of the basics that they have forgotten such as: Unconditional Love, Pride for their Job and a Way of looking at life a little less seriously."

October is not only Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it is also Downs Syndrome Awareness Month. And since I have two cousins with Downs and I have met more people with it, I have become aware. They may look and talk differently and may have to live with someone for the rest of their lives, they are no different from you or I. And the one great thing about them is they don't have a mean bone in their body. You smile at one and you are their friend for life.
